For Sale Terry Duran has some excellent prices on some used bike stuff (Zipp. Scott, Cannondale). Check out what he has on our front page.

Dec 25 – Merry Christmas everyone! Due to winter weather, the tentative afternoon ride has been cancelled. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, and the next BBL ride will be New Year’s Day (Jan 1, 2011). Check back for details later this week.

Bikes for Kids update Wow! Thanks to the generous support of the Birmingham cycling community, we raised over $500 and today purchased bikes for Camp Smile-A-Mile. Only two grown-up kids were on hand for the purchase of bikes but check out the photos of how happy the kids are going to be once they get their bikes! Check out the photos on our front page.

Dec 18 – Maybe it’s a Mimosa Report. Awesome ride today in what turned out to be beautiful weather. Hot attack zone action with BBC tentatively taking the team win today. Read the full details in the ride recap, double-check the current points standings, and please add the missing names/teams in the comments. Thanks y’all.

Dec 11 – Points Part 2 Report. Great turnout of almost 60 riders in what turned out to be good weather with lots of hot action in the two attack zones for the day. Read the full recap and check out the updated points. I only have partial women’s results, so please email me or add a comment to the recap with the correct finish order for Cemetery Hill. Thanks!

Bikes for Kids. Tria Cycling is raising money to help purchase and distribute bikes to kids in need this Christmas. If you are interested in contributing, you can use the Paypal link on our home page here – http://www.triacycling.com/

Dec 4 – Points Kickoff Report. Awesome turnout (50+ riders) for the points kickoff. Check out the ride recap and the current points total. Be sure to read the ride recap for an explanation of the modified points system for this year.

Nov 27 – Turkey Ride Report. Great turnout for a holiday weekend of training. Check out Pat Allison’s BBL ride report here or on his website – http://leaditout.com.

Nov 20 – Annie Lee Ride Report. Excellent ride today in beautiful fall weather with about 45 people participating. Read the full recap here.

Nov 13 – Kelly Creek Kickoff. Come join us for the opening ride this year as we kick it off Kelly Creek style. See the map and turn-by-turn directions below!

November LSD Rides. The time has come – time to freeze in misery with other OCD folks who love to ride their bikes. Once again we are kicking off the BBL Winter Bike series with all New Routes, New Sponsors and Attack Zones and with even more participation and excitement than we’ve ever had. We will roll this Saturday (Nov 13th) and most Saturdays from The Irondale Starbucks at 9AM. But stay tuned for our sponsored rides from different area locations as we progress throughout the series. This ride is for everyone who wants to get fit with sustained base miles between 50-90 miles and to learn better group skills and pacelining. No attack zones or points until December. Just some good base miles. We ride as a group, in a group, so remember if you have a different agenda than what we do, this is NOT the ride for you.
