Strava Showdown

Fun showdown again this year. Mark and I really went back and forth on this one. I definitely set some power records along the way trying to chase his times! Already looking forward to next year ... please send me your suggestions for improvement. kartoone76@gmail.com

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THIS WEEK'S CLIMB

This climb is pretty straightforward starting at the bottom of Clairmont with just one turn - a righthand turn onto Overwood/Altamont Rd. There are a couple of turns that look similar so the way to remember which turn to take is that it is the first righthand turn AFTER Clairmont splits into two separate one way roads. Also, if you come flying down Clairmont in order to start the KOM with a flying start, be aware that the pavement is really crappy in spots on the descent. You might want to do one or two slow dry runs to figure out where all the potholes are.

Overall results through Week 6

These are tabulated by calculating the sum of all your times. If you miss a week, then you are given the time of the slowest rider plus a 30 second penalty (with the exception of week 4, in which case you were assigned the same time as Brian Toone - the only rider to do the climb that week)
